After you reach NJP, we will arrange for your breakfast. Freshen up, have your breakfast, and our car will take you to Jorethang. Jorethang is a picturesque place where the lunch will be arranged. After lunch, we’ll resume our journey. Reach Okhrey by evening and be welcome by our homestay host. Freshen up, have tea and snacks, and enjoy the nightfall there. Night stay at Okhrey.

There is some rush today. Wake up, freshen up, and we’ll arrange for your breakfast. Visit the solitary monastery nearby – surrounded by lush forest of Rhododendron – after breakfast. After returning from the monastery, our car(s) will take you to Hilley : the point where the motorable roadway ends and the trek to Varsey begins. Take a breath at Hilley (and if you’re lucky, Hilley will offer a grand sight of the Kanchenjungha!), and start the trek to Varsey. Varsey trek is a wonderful Himalayan trek adorned with riots of rhododendron. It is an offbeat trekking destination of Sikkim. A no-sweat trek with moderate hikes will invite you who trek more to get closer to nature. Varsey is around 3060 m in elevation and located near Indo-Nepal border. The trek is dotted with blazing rhododendron and a sanctuary of high altitude birds. Relax for the rest of the day once you reach Varsey. We’ll arrange for you a campfire in the evening to mark your last night. Night stay at Varsey.

Early morning breakfast will be arranged for you. Roam about in the vicinity for a while if you want. Pack your luggage and soon you’ll leave for Hilley. The same route will lead you to Hilley where our car will wait for you there. Board the car and reach NJP by early evening. Book your train/bus tickets accordingly.
