Terms & Conditions- Room allotment is to be done 24hrs prior to the check-in. Hence, View rooms are subject to availability. 

Notes:

  1. The above invoice includes what is explicitly mentioned. Anything over and above what is mentioned is to be borne additionally by the guest. 
  2. Trek Break & more shall not be responsible for any personal loss/emergency or any service deficiency in the hotel.
  3.  Trek Break & more shall not hold the property after sending the estimate; after which the property shall be released without any intimation. Trek Break & more shall not be responsible for the availability of the property after that.
  4. The guest is required to pay 50% immediately at the time of booking and the remaining 50% can be paid 7-10 days before the commencement of the trip.
  5.  If advance payment is not received within 15 days of the quote date, it shall be assumed that the guest has cancelled the trip.
  6. No refund will be initiated if the trip is cancelled within 7 days of the trip.
  7. If any booking is made through a third party, Trek Break & more shall not be liable to the guest for any subsequent dispute. The guest will be expected to settle the dispute with the third party only.
  8.  Trek Break & more cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstances or in any case of the personal loss of the guest.
  9.  The above costs are Net & Non-Commissionable and valid for Indian nationals only.

For Railway / Air / Bus Tickets:

  1. For RAC /WL tickets please follow the PNR Status after chart preparation or 4hrs before the scheduled departure (which one is earlier).
  2. For Cancellation of Tickets (Partially/ Completely), refunds are subject to be initiated after the deduction of cancellation charges (as per the IRCTC /Airline /Bus Policy) & service charges.
  3. For Cancellation / Refund Guests need to send us an Email. Cancellation is to be done after successful verification of the OTP sent on the Registered Mobile number. For unavailability of the OTP, guests should produce Government ID Card as asked by the Service Provides.
  4. Cancellation Amount is to be paid after the deduction of Service Charges. No refunds will be entertained against the service charges.
  5. Refund is to paid by Trek Break & More after successful verification and Payment Adjustments done by the IRCTC / Airline / Bus Vendor. This procedure may require time of 07-49 Days. After the adjustment is over Trek Break & More will transfer the Refund Amount to the source account.

Travel Advisory For West Bengal:
All guests must carry either certificate of a double dose of Covid-19 vaccination or an RT-PCR negative report (done within 72 hrs.)  to enter WEST BENGAL.
 


Tour Price Includes:

Tour Price Excludes:
1.  Air Fare / Train / Bus fare.
2.  Personal Expenses such as Laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joyride (Toy Train), porterage, bonfire, etc.
3.  Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
4.  Entrance Fees & Guide charges. 
5.  Any cost arising due to natural calamities, like- landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, should be directly payable on the spot).
6.  Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to a rise in the cost of surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect before departure.

Child Policy:
1.  Child Below 05 yrs. complimentary
2.  Child 5-10 yrs. without extra bed as mentioned in the cost column CNB (Child no Bed)
3.  Child 5-10 yrs. with extra bed as mentioned in cost column CWB (Child with Bed)
4.  Above 10 years / Extra adult with an extra bed sharing room are same & charged as per.

About Vehicle:
1.  We provide exclusive vehicles in our packages.
2.  Non a/c Wagon-R /Alto for 1-4 Pax including child.
3.  Innova /Scorpio /Xylo for 6 pax including child.
4. Tata Sumo Gold /Bolero /Max for 7 pax including child.

5.  If guests are booked for luxury vehicles, Innova /Scorpio /Xylo will be provided as per the availability
6.  In case the number of heads traveling increases, then the guest will have to take another vehicle.
7.  Most of the hotels do not have a parking place & vehicles cannot be parked in front of the gates for longer periods hence guests should wait at the reception 5 minutes before departure to avoid inconvenience.
8.  Due to vehicle-parking difficulty, most of the areas are restricted to entry of vehicles & specific time is allotted for entries. Kindly follow the time strictly as given to you.
9.  In No Parking Zones, the vehicle will get parked in an available parking area. You will have to wait for the vehicle to come to your designated area in such a case. Please be patient as the driver will have to come through traffic. Please coordinate with the driver. 10. The guest should always keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages.

About Transfers:
1.  Transfer from the Railway station / Airport will be provided from 06:00 hrs. To 17:00 hrs. 
2.  All hill destinations are a minimum of 3 to 5 hrs. Drive from the station or airport. So, we do not recommend traveling in inadequate daylight. 
3.  In unavoidable circumstances the guest may have to stay back at Siliguri at an additional cost. 
4.  If there is any late arrival at NJP railway station, we suggest to the guest, considering their safety that they should stay back at the station. We will arrange their transfers at 6:00 a.m. 

5.  Keeping in mind the road condition of any hilly region, the guest should decide upon themselves (with their train and flight timings) as to when they should start the departure transfer. We suggest a buffer time of 2 hours at least. 

For Luxury Vehicles:
Please note that this Luxury Vehicle (Scorpio / Xylo) will be provided to the guest for the complete tour. The vehicle changes every day/Sector wise & will be on contract as per the itinerary. This vehicle is not at its disposal. Also while opting for Luxury Vehicle please inform the guest to travel light with minimum baggage of one piece per person.  In case of excess baggage, the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The guest will directly pay the cost for this on the spot. Maximum 06 Heads (Including adults & children) will be allowed in a Scorpio / Xylo.
AC of this luxury vehicle will only operate in plain & not in hills.
** In case the guest is opting for Scorpio/Xylo inform the guest to travel with minimum baggage of one piece per person.  In case of excess baggage, the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle with an additional cost for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this will be borne by the guest directly.

About Hotel:
1.  Check-in 14:00 hrs. / Check-out time is 12:00 hrs.
2.  The tourism infrastructure in Sikkim & Darjeeling is not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of plains & other developed destinations there is always a scarcity of water and power in the region and so you would come across situations like water (hot) being supplied on a time basis – morning & evening.
3.  Room Heater available with an extra cost Borne by the guest directly (Except at Premium+, Premium & Luxury categories)
4.  Category of Rooms in the packages normally remains the base category of rooms.
5.  A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory. 
6.  For Extra adults in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattresses or roll-away beds. Most of the hotels have no provision for an extra bed.
7.  Operator reserves the right to re-arrange the itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and compromising any services.
8.  In the area almost all the hotels do not have a lift facility and in all the hotels the guest will have to climb stairs. In case any guest is having problems with blood pressure, knee, or other ailments for which they cannot climb the higher floors they will have to inform us during the time of booking so that we can try to arrange rooms at the lowest possible floor of the hotel enabling the guest to climb the minimum number of stairs.

General Information:
1.  Please inform your guest to maintain the timing for the sightseeing/transfers which will be advisable by our executive.
2.  The tour executive reserves the right to make changes or omit any place of visit if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band, security reason, etc.
3. Kindly inform us if the guests are senior citizens or have health-related issues (like arthritis, heart problems, etc.) or any such matter which might need special arrangements. Some itineraries will not be suitable for them and we will suggest accordingly.
4. Security concerns, drivers’ working hours, etc. will be kept in mind while planning the tour and sightseeing. 
5.  We try to ensure that the sightseeing points do not fall on a closing day. In case due to inevitable situation, if the sightseeing falls on a closing day, it will have to be left out. Conducting that particular tour or sightseeing point the next day will be subject to time availability.  The weather in the region is unpredictable. We have kept your sightseeing related to nature flexible.
6.  The region’s prime tourist interest is its Nature and eco-friendly atmosphere. The facilities available here cannot be matched with other developed destinations. 
7. The guest should always keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages.

Booking Procedure:
We need the following to process your booking.
1.  Itinerary name
2.  Client’s name, e-mail ID, and contact number.
3.  The Exact number of passengers traveling with the breakup of the number of Adults & rooms required, Extra Person sharing the room (EPSR), Child with Bed (CWB), Child with No Bed (CNB) & Infant.
4.  Arrival & departure date with train /Bus /flight details.
5.  Necessary photo id proofs and photographs to process permits (ILP) as per rule.
6.  Tour division will get back to you with your booking reference no (File number) along with confirmations with the payment details within 12hrs. In case you do not hear from us within 12hrs, please resend the query once again.

Payment Policy:
1) Any confirmation is subject to an advance deposit of 25% of the package cost and has to be paid immediately, after that we can process the booking.
2) Balance Payment has to be made in advance and must be paid & as per the time limit given at the time of confirmation.
3) Cash payments are not accepted. Payments can be remitted through any of the following modes and are subject to realization.

After depositing the payment, please mail us the Deposit Slip. After that our Team will generate the Advance Payment Receipt against your booking.

Refund Rules:
A refund will be paid to the source through which the guest has booked. Any refund will take at least 15 days to process & will be sent to your bank a/c only.
** NO REFUND WILL BE MADE AGAINST ANY UNUTILIZED SERVICES; WHATSOEVER MAY BE THE REASON.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation has to be sent to us by email only. From the Date of booking – 30 days only communication charges of Rs 2000.00 per person
30 -15 Days before departure      25% of the tour cost
14 -07 Days before departure      50% of the tour cost 
07- 03 Days before departure      75% of the tour cost
02 Days/No show                          100% of the tour cost

1. Above are the cancellation rules but we will put our best possible effort to minimize the cancellation charges.
2. The above refund norms shall be applicable, only if adherence to booking and balance payment is maintained.
3. Cancellation charges shall also be charged even if the entire trip is not cancelled but only the number of members has been reduced or room requirements have been reduced or if journey time is reduced after booking.

4. Refund will not be initiated in the event of cancellation of bookings for peak season (National holidays, Durga Puja Holiday Month, Diwali Holiday Month, Summer Vacation (10th May to 15th June), Winter Vacation (20th Dec to 2nd Jan).

5. No Refund shall be made for cancellations due to political issues like lockdown or Curfew or any kind of Strike or due to Train | Airways | Bus | Vehicle non-availability or any other unforeseen circumstances or any natural calamity.
6. Postponed must be informed 15 days before the journey date, postponed option will not be applicable in the peak season. 
7. The option for postponement of the trip shall be allowed only if a 100% advance of the package cost for the preceding trip has been made. Also, the new total cost for the postponed trip shall under no circumstance be less than the cancelled trip. The postponed trip shall be completed within 3 months from the date of cancellation.
8. Postponed trips cannot be cancelled or further postponed and advance money is non-refundable.
